The Lions Club International is one of the world’s largest service organizations.  Known for working to end preventable blindness, the Lions participate in a wide variety of activities that support their local communities. The Lions are the force behind the village’s popular Dairy Days celebration, held each year on the third weekend in June.  The Lions have contributed thousands of dollars to help make Soldiers Grove a great place to live, including:
  • Maintenance and enhancements to Soldiers Groves parks and shelters
  • Support of summer recreation programs
  • Contributions to the rescue squad and fire department
  • Scholarships awarded to local students
  • Sponsorship of a camp for disabled children in Rosholt, Wisconsin
  • Significant contributions to the Lions Club parent organization in support of its many charitable activities.
